The acupuncture treatment is carried out by inserting stainless steel pins into specific points on the body and in the ear. The exact reason due to which acupuncture aids weight loss is unknown, but the insertion triggers a calming effect on the body that reduces stress and anxiety and reduces the yearning for food. It also brings about a normalcy in the body metabolism and helps the organ systems regain balance.
